With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Scott Mickelsen provides expert consulting in executive leadership development and board governance training for educational institutions, healthcare organizations, and nonprofits. He has successfully trained boards on governance structures and coached executive teams on aligning operations with local, state, and national policies, supporting sustainable growth, strategic planning, and mission-driven leadership. Mrs. Mitzi Mickelsen brings a unique and powerful perspective to the training team. With over 35 years in the nursing field as a licensed nurse and nursing educator, she understands the challenges and opportunities within both healthcare and educational environments. In addition, as a certified coach through the International Coaching Federation (ICF), she provides deep insight into personal development, leadership mindset, and team cohesion. Together, the Mickelsens offer a comprehensive, people-centered approach to training boards and executive teams—bridging policy, practice, and purpose. Cancellation Policy
At New Heights Consulting, LLC, we understand that schedules can change. We strive to accommodate the needs of our clients while maintaining the integrity of our time and services. Please review our cancellation policy below: 1. Standard Cancellation Notice Cancellations must be submitted in writing (via email) at least 15 business days prior to the scheduled service date to avoid any fees. 2. Cancellations Within 15 Business Days Cancellations made within 15 business days of the scheduled service may be subject to a 25% cancellation fee based on the total service agreement. 3. Cancellations Within 48 Hours Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled service will be billed at 50% of the total service fee to cover preparation time and reserved availability. 4. Same-Day Cancellations or No-Shows If a cancellation is made on the day of service or the client fails to show or be available, the full service fee (100%) will be charged. 5. Rescheduling We are happy to reschedule your consulting service once, at no additional charge, if notified at least 72 hours in advance. Additional rescheduling may incur a fee. 6. Emergency Circumstances We understand emergencies happen. In cases of severe illness, natural disasters, or other significant events, we will review cancellation fees on a case-by-case basis.
