My Role: Senior Consultant to establish training, policies, and curriculum for youth agricultural programs throughout Egypt.
Project Description
The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations is implementing a partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MOYS) entitled, “Empowering Youth for Agri-food Systems Transformation”. This partnership's aim is to empower youth to increase their knowledge base on production agriculture, entrepreneurial skills along with support to start-up agribusinesses.
The model was based up on FFA and 4-H programs in the United States.
Objectives:
Set the manual, methodology and structure of the green youth clubs.
Conduct a training of trainers (TOT) to Ministry of Youth and Sports personnel.
